What a surprise it was to open the mail box and get a letter like that from someone you’ve prayed for, and find out that they were also praying for you. Very heartwarming.
What started out for me as a project of child sponsorship, in which I thought I would be helping by giving this little girl opportunities for a healthy, more educated life, has now turned into so much more. The thought of building a relationship with this little girl, as well as her family, was very exciting.

It's a lovely letter. I'm glad you're able to share photos with her - it's nice when both sides have an idea of what the other looks like. It somehow makes it feel more real I think. And very good news on the school front! It looks like she has a bright future ahead of her, thanks in part to your sponsorship!
